Tech..yesterday and today
Hello All,
We are almost back to our former Fall status for 2011.
Our Calendar is based around tech and the Mia Birthday Anniversary.
We have a busy season for celebrations by default, this yr, adding MIA.
A calendar will be blogged, including UCLA classes related to MIA.
Most of the Sept news below, is still valid.

For open source, we are exactly open, however; dedicated to paypal Business and training for developers.
This is after (Winter Holidays ’10’) losing our Mia Jonita Beta to a converting tech issue.
We almost combined (Open Sim) versions 6 and 7 (most recent).
The results required too much of a work ethic and way off our blueprint planning.
The Concept, however; was too cool, or for a moment at least.
The land or island; Regions went from old to New, but got stuck.-Spring 2011-Mia Management.

The Current Status of: Mia Jonita Resorts
1. Still testing grid mode and viewers benefits
2. Shifting to web server, web interface, and web hosting user acct.
3. Researching options for in world/out world accounting and money management.
Will use the most, virtual ethical, and professional means of transferring under (virtual) vcurrency and (virtual) vexchange. So far, many virtual worlds and grids seem to have no issues, example IMVU and Second Life.
We are also accounting with: Social Gold at jambool.com
(Currently not available to public, under future testings)

Will keep everyone posted, or new users after Grand opening this fall, will receive news, memos, and updates.

Prayers for Japan & Tech
Prayers for Japan & Mia Tech Support:
- Here in the LDM Board, we are praying for Japan.
- If you ever watched the Martin Lawrence Show, Season 3, then you know we are high emotions. Between Gena and Martin’s Momma. or another picture, the Matrix over Neo. We are trying to ground ourselves, our emotions, and recover. We can only imagine those in or with Families japan. Once i heard, 9.0 and the island shifted several feet, all other information just faded into my emotional, “What? OMG!” This was slow, in stages of sm. news alerts til Sun/Mon.
- I am no earth quake expert or follower, but 9.0 is pretty large.
- Those in our board (CEO2, YG Manager) with Asian Clients, have already made panic stricken but calm contacts. I thought i was being emotional, but that was one basic instinct.
- There are celebrities raising awareness and donations over the weekend, for this week. We cannot donate but cont. our tech project and raise in world contributions/Japan Dedications.
- Mia Tech: We are in grid mode, something we achieved for the former regions we now call Mia Jonita Beta. We are coming across a port/connection issue, real minor but annoying-this is week 3. Everything else for Grid checks out. We still have to add a lot of inventory, land building and decor. ‘In World’ Theme will be Asia and Zen decor, decided Friday morning, (i still have no idea when the earth quake hit.)
- Mia Tech: We are also still (OS) Open Sim babies, our first anniversary will be this June 2011. We will save and back up, unlike our Beta Grid. Anything you do in Open Sim, like Second life, saves by default; beyond the appearance mode. However; back ups are suggested in additional to. I did research 2 different methods. This will be used, after grid mode processing once Mia decor is complete again.
